A Valentine Gift for Mousie

Simple Primitives done in the tradition of old

This is little Mousie.  He has just received his Valentine's gift, a big ol' block of cheese all for him!  Mousie measures approximately 5½" to 6" long when completed as shown.

Mousie lays on an old tattered cardboard heart which is covered in moss and dried grass.  His little hind legs are up in the air with delight.  He rests his head on his little stick hands, staring at his big block of cheese.

Yummy, yummy, yummy!  He doesn't know whether to stare at it or eat it :)

This is mousie in love, which you can make two mousie's and have them staring into each other's eyes.  Little Mousie holds a small Valentine which he gives to his love.

These last two pictures are just another example of what you can do with this little guy.  You can put him on a very small board and add some moss and a small flower.  It makes a beautiful and simple spring primitive.  I call this one "In awe of nature".

Mousie, taking time to watch the flowers grow.

God be with you.
