Simple Primitives done in the tradition of old

This is an awesome American Eagle Door Doll pattern!  He is in flight, proudly carrying the American flag banner which says "HOME of the BRAVE".  America truly is the HOME of the BRAVE.

This is an extremely, extremely primitive doll.  It has a tremendous amount of aging and crusting.

He has sculpt stitched features completely throughout his wings and tail.  Old rusty bells have been sewn to the tips of his wings and tail.  His beak is also sculpt stitched.

The wavy and tattered American Flag banner has been painted red, white, and blue.  It is attached to him with rusty wires and bells.

It also has red, white, and blue string tassels attached to the banner with rusty safety pins.  He is approximately 27" when completed as shown.  His wingspan is approximately 16½" wide.

He would look wonderful displayed on your door for the upcoming Independence Day or throughout the year.
