Simple Primitives done in the tradition of old
This is a beautiful
handmade open book. It is done so primitively. The
book has been put through many processes to achieve this look.
It has been painted, stained, and stiffened. The corners of
the pages have been curled up and stiffened also. The book
cannot be closed. On one side there is a vintage photo of
a witch and on the other side is a poem "Witch's Ball". Sweet annie,
Spanish moss, dried moss, and harvest berries adorns the top of the
book.
This is a beautiful
Halloween display that you will love to set out during Halloween. It
also looks wonderful just laying on a side table without the
stand.
This display measures approximately 8½" tall by 12 inches wide
(not including the bookstand). A free bookstand is included. |
