Piggy Goes to Market

Simple Primitives done in the tradition of old

This fat little rag stuffed pig stands on all four legs which are rusty nails.  Not only did this little piggy go to market, it is bringing home a sweet summer watermelon!  The watermelon is stitched to his back.  For the seeds I added black beads.  His curly little tail is made from heavy wire.  He has the cutest little ears.  His collar is stained twine with an old bell dangling down.  His banner is made from aged paper that says "This Little Piggy went to Market".  Stained twine is wrapped around his body and the watermelon to secure the banner.  Sweet annie peeps out from behind and a bit of dried moss adorns the watermelon.  Measures approximately 11½".  You will love this old style primitive display.
