Simple Primitives done in the tradition of old
The Farmer American
Eagle has worked in his garden and has a bountiful harvest for
Thanksgiving. The olde eagle is extremely primtiive with a
sculpt stitched beak. His eye is a peppercorn. He
wears an olde raggedy burlap farmer's hat with bits of dried moss.
He wears a checkered brown shirt with stick arms and a pair of
brown bib overalls and a red plaid scarf. He carries an
American flag with a banner stitched on that says "American
Farmlands Harvest Thyme 1776". Beside him sits his bountiful
harvest of pumpkins and corn shucks and a haybale with a tealight
candle sitting on top filling a painted fall colored box with a
vintage postcard of Thanksgiving greetings. Hay has been
placed on his side. The eagle is partially rag stuffed and is
placed on a vintage bobbin. This wonderful American
Thanksgiving display measures approximately 23 1/2" tall.
God bless you and
God bless America.
