Simple Primitives done in the tradition of old

This is an extremely primitive sheep door doll. He hangs by stained twine.  He is long and slender. He is painted a grungy antique white. An old rusty nail holds on a grungy cotton batting tail.  The flag banner is separate and old looking, and secured to him by rusty nails on each side.  An aged paper tag has been sewn to the center of it which says "American Wool & Co. Est 1776"  Dried moss and sweet annie surround the flag banner, and rusty bells have been sewn to the tips.  The old sheep wears a twine collar with a rusty bell hanging down. His old feet and legs are made from dried sticks and tree branches. He measures approximately 28".
